As part of the environment design course with Carla Montalvo, I worked on a final project where I reimagined a scene from Meet the Robinsons. I transported the story to the 18th century, setting it on a pirate ship instead of an orphanage. In this version, Goob’s dream of excelling at baseball was replaced with a passion for fishing, reshaping his struggles to fit the new historical context.
The project involved a complete redesign of the characters and room props to align with the new setting. Additionally, I created an isometric view of the environment before working on the final illustration, where I focused on conveying the characters' emotions through composition and lighting.
